I would like to know if the university asks for a transcript of records obtained during your previous uni studies and if so how does this have an impact on your admission?

They won’t directly ask it from you, for the IMAT you just need your high-school diploma.

But if you already have a degree and you apply for a scholarship you are obliged to declare it.

Hi there! When I applied for the master’s degree in Italy, they asked me for both the degree diploma and the academic transcript of records. I don’t know if it happens in all universities though (I’m studying at Politecnico di Milano), so I’d suggest you check the webpage of the university you want to apply to in order to find the specific requirements you’ll need to fulfil 🙂
