    A sample of DNA contains 32 % guanine.
    Which answer shows the percentage of thymine in the same sample?

    A. 32

    B. 18

    C. 23

    D. 34

    E. 24

    This is the third time I see this exact question in a biology section.

    DNA contains G:C A:T in the same rations to one another.

    G:C has 3 hydrogen bonds, meaning they are capturing more space, and A:T has 2 hydrogen bonds, meaning they are capturing less space.

    IF WE HAVE 32% OF GUNANINE, WE ALSO HAVE 32% OF CYTOSINE.

    100%-32%-32%= 36%

    This 36% splits equally between thymine and adenine,

    36/2=18

    Out answer is B
