i am studying from the campbell biology book and following your 2020 study guide. what I am most concerned about is the amount of details we are expected to study/learn about the systems in animals other than humans. what do I have to know exactly, do you have any study tips for them?

Animal physiology is usually mentioned as a reference, but you shouldn’t study it in-depth at all. I would focus only on Human physiology because this is one part of the biology section that is surprisingly in-depth (which makes sense, it’s human physiology).
High-school students have questions about animal physiology and plants on their exams, but it’s not relevant to us.
So no, you shouldn’t study animal physiology (luckily).
